Terms of Service
  1. All Colors chosen are subject to dye lot variation.
  2. Cancellations: Merchandise ordered cannot be canceled once production has begun. Generally, production begins the day that the order is placed.
  3. Suitability: Buyer has made all decisions concerning the selection, color and style of merchandise purchased.
  4. Delivery: Seller has given buyer seller’s best estimate of the delivery time for this order. Factory production schedule may change without notice. Therefore, delivery time is an estimate and the merchandise may not be available on the date estimated.
  5. Inspections: Buyer must inspect the merchandise upon delivery. Buyer must make any claims for damage at that time.
  6. Delivery and Payment: Buyer will make final payment (if any) upon receipt and or installation. Failure to do so will result in storage charges of $1 per day per item and a late charge of 1.5% per month on the past due amount.
  7. Acceptance: The order is taken by the salesperson and is subject to acceptance by the seller.
  8. Security Interest: Buyer grants seller security interest in the merchandise to secure Buyer’s obligation to pay agreed purchase price. Seller will have all of the rights of a secured party under the Uniform Commercial Code.
  9. Fees and Expenses: Buyer will pay all of seller’s fees and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees that Seller incurs in enforcing its rights.
  10. Return Charge: If a check is returned or credit card is rejected. Buyer will pay Seller the amount charged to Seller.
  11. Roller, Solar, Shades are known to have large light gaps on each side of the unit. Large light gaps on roller, solar shades is not a manufacturer defect, the light gaps are a characteristic of all roller type shades.
  12. Plantation Shutters are known to prevent windows from being able to tilt in. Some windows require the window to tilt in before removing the window screen.
  13. At Sarasota Window Blinds every blind is custom made for You, the purchaser. By signing this form, you confirm that the information is correct. Once the order is signed, the merchandise is yours and no returns or exchanges will be allowed outside the parameters set forth in the warranty.
Customer Acceptance Condition

One Year Installation Limited Warranty

(New Product Purchase)

Sarasota Window Blinds, warrants to the original consumer purchaser installation services (“Services”) for a period on one (1) year following the date on which services were originally performed, that any Services performed by Sarasota Window Blinds, will be performed in a workmanlike manner and according to applicable manufacture specifications. Sarasota Window Blinds obligation is limited to (Sarasota Window Blinds) reinstallation, repair or replacement of the Products, parts or components that were improperly measured and/or installed. Removal and reinstallation of such Products, parts or components performed under this warranty will be performed by Sarasota Window Blinds. All repairs will be made with like or similar parts. Sarasota Window Blinds obligation under this warranty is expressly conditioned on your payment in full for the Services at issue. For warranty service, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the Services.

This warranty does not cover any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, exposure to the elements, normal wear and tear, or incorrect measurement by anyone other than Sarasota Window Blinds. This warranty also does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the Products or reinstallation in the same or another window or application, which removal or reinstallation was performed by anyone other than Sarasota Window Blinds.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES OR WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES. This warranty is not transferable. In no event shall Sarasota Window Blinds be liable or responsible for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee.

Sarasota Window Blinds will provide service for any product that they have installed, and the Customer will be liable for any fees associated to the repair of the product, beyond those associated to the manufacturer warranty. Product warranty is between Customer and Manufacture and the Customer is allowed to get warranty service directly from the Manufacture, and the Customer is liable for any fees associated for that repair. Customer agrees to file the warranty with the manufacture based on the manufacturers process.

Bounced Checks.

If your check to us “bounces” (or if your bank or payment card issuer refuses to pay us amounts you have previously authorized us to charge to your account), we may suspend Services and require that you pay us our standard fee of $50 plus balance of contract. You cannot settle amounts you owe us by writing “paid in full” or any other message on your bill or check. Sarasota Window Blinds will contact you for any issues with payment, and you will have 12 days to make payment in full of balanced owed. In accordance with your statute, Sarasota Window Blinds will prosecute any individual that refuses and or fails to render payment due at full balance due.

Shutter/Blind Removal

The customer, hereby understands and agrees that with the removal of my window coverings may result in damage, either of the walls or of the product, due to the existing install and how it was done. Things such as drywall damage, or removal, which may include the paint and texture of the wall. Things such as nails and screws have made holes into the products/walls to secure the existing products and Sarasota Window Blinds has no control of what those anchors have done, or what they will do during removal. I understand that Sarasota Window Blinds has done their best to minimize damage, and if it does occur, the customer hereby releases Sarasota Window Blinds from having to do repairs, such as drywall or painting, unless it is determined that it was found to be caused by negligence of Sarasota Window Blinds.

Shutter/Blind Re-Install

The customer, hereby understands and agrees that Sarasota Window Blinds has installed the window coverings into the windows that it came from, with the knowledge that the product may not go back into them the same way that it was prior to removal. Things such as drywall damage, or removal, which may include the paint and texture of the wall. Things such as nails and screws have made holes into the products/walls to secure the existing products and Sarasota Window Blinds had no control of what those anchors have done, or what they have done during removal. The customer understands that Sarasota Window Blinds has done their best to install the products back to manufactures specifications, The customer hereby releases Sarasota Window Blindsfrom having to do repairs on products unless the customer has specifically requested Sarasota Window Blinds, with the knowledge that the customer is responsible for any costs ensured to do so, unless it is determined that it was found to be caused by negligence of Sarasota Window Blinds. The customer agrees to pay Sarasota Window Blinds, the full balance of the project once the project is completed.

Exterior Screen Warranty

Exterior Screens, the manufacturers of exterior Hurricane systems, guarantees the material and workmanship of its products to be of excellent quality. All Materials are carefully selected to withstand most weather elements and breakage under normal use. The warranty does not cover claims originated from faulty installations, hail, flood, fire, harmful chemicals and fumes, misuse, abuse, fading, chalking, oxidization, erosion of paint, acts of God, or causes beyond control of the manufacturer. This warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser and is not transferable. The lifetime material warranty applies to aluminum components only (prorated after 2 years).

5 YEAR WARRANTY Exterior Screens warrants the electrical motors for a period of 5 years, commencing from the date of sale from Exterior Screens, against failure under expected normal use. Warranty is void if the electrical motor is exposed to water, acts of God, or abnormal conditions, including faulty installation.

2 YEAR WARRANTY Exterior Screens warrants the electronic components such as radio transmitters and receivers for a period of 2 years, commencing from the date of sale from Exterior Screens against failure under expected normal use. Warranty is void if the electronic component is exposed to water, acts of God, or abnormal conditions.

Screen & Vinyl Warranty Exterior Screens warrants fabrics supplied from Twitchell have a 10-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase. The warranty covers defects of workmanship, materials, or excessive loss of strength in normal conditions, including sunlight, rot, mildew, or atmospheric chemicals that might render it unserviceable. Improper use, abuse, or use of harsh chemicals will void the warranty. Fabrics not manufactured by Twitchell might have different warranties associated. Please ask for full details and warranty info for other fabrics other than twitchell.

Exterior Screens warrants our clear vinyl windows for (1) year. The warranty specifically covers manufacturer defects in the material or workmanship of stitching or welding of the vinyl windows to the surrounding material. Any defects in the Vinyl panels need to be noted upon installation of the motorized system. Discoloring, yellowing, orange-peel, or scratches discovered in the material after the install is complete are not covered and typically caused by use of improper cleaning solutions. Please ask for cleaning instructions, care, and maintenance.

OmegaTex™ Warranty: Hurricane Screen Twitchell Corporation produces durable, all-weather fabrics that are unmatched for quality and durability. OmegaTex™ brand fabrics are covered by a 10-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase against defects of workmanship and materials, and/or excessive loss of strength from normal exposure conditions, including sunlight, rot, mildew, or atmospheric chemicals that might render it unserviceable. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the material.

If the product has been subject to damage, neglect, unreasonable or improper use or care, exposure to corrosive chemicals, accidents, vandalism, acts of God, hurricane damage, or other causes not arising from defects in original material or workmanship, this warranty is void. Twitchell does not endorse or certify end uses, and customers must test the fabrics for their specific applications.

In the unlikely event that the fabric should fail during the warranty period, Exterior Screens will repair or replace the fabric at Exterior Screens’ discretion. A copy of the original purchase order must accompany all warranty claims.

Any defects found in regard to fabric construction, color, strength, or dimension that exist at the time of delivery must be reported to Exterior Screens within 2 weeks of receiving the product.

**Minor flaws or imperfections in the material are considered within manufacturer standards and cannot be returned or replaced. Any issues with flaws must be presented to Exterior Screens with appropriate documentation and pictures for evaluation. Exterior Screens will do our best to provide the best quality control on this process, but it is possible one or more screens of any order might have minor flaws. This system and material are first and foremost a protective device for your home or business.

Proper care includes regular cleaning. We recommend cleaning your fabric at least twice annually for residential applications and more often for high-traffic areas or contract applications.
