We are a growing home improvement company seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Administrative Coordinator to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys learning new technology, and can successfully manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional customer service.

This position works closely with customers, vendors, manufacturers, field personnel, and leadership to help ensure projects move efficiently from initial inquiry through completion.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
  • Welcome customers and visitors.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, text, website chat, and social media.
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the customer experience.

Scheduling & Project Coordination

  • Schedule appointments and maintain company calendars.

Our product offerings include custom blinds, shades, plantation shutters, custom drapery, motorized window treatments, smart home integrations, exterior shades and screens, hurricane protection products, and other custom window covering and shading solutions.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented independent installer who takes pride in quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Scheduling & Preparation

  • Pick up products from our Sarasota warehouse on the day of installation.
  • Review your installation schedule daily through our scheduling software.
  • Communicate your weekly hours of availability with our administrative team.

Installation & Programming

  • Install custom blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, motorized window treatments, and other Sarasota Window Blinds products according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Program motorized shades, remotes, hubs, and smart home integrations.
  • Demonstrate product operation and programming to homeowners before leaving the job site.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues whenever possible.

Communication

  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation.
  • Contact the assigned salesperson or company owner whenever clarification is needed.
  • Immediately report damaged products, missing parts, measurement discrepancies, or installation concerns.
  • Represent Sarasota Window Blinds professionally at every customer interaction.

Job Site & Documentation

  • Break down and dispose of all packaging and installation debris unless otherwise directed by the customer.

  • Submit invoices to Sarasota Window Blinds weekly.
  • Approved invoices are paid within three business days.

We install premium residential and light commercial products throughout Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice, and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

Products You'll Install

  • Impact windows, replacement windows, new construction windows, and specialty windows.
  • Hurricane-rated windows and doors.
  • Entry doors, exterior doors, and interior doors (as offered).
  • Sliding glass doors, French doors, and patio doors.
  • Other window and door products offered by Sarasota Window Blinds.

Scheduling & Preparation

  • Pick up products from our Sarasota warehouse when required.
  • Review your installation schedule daily using our scheduling software.
  • Communicate your weekly availability with our administrative team.

Installation

  • Safely remove existing windows and doors.
  • Install new windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and Florida building codes.
  • Ensure installations are level, square, weather-tight, and properly sealed.
  • Install hardware, locks, handles, and accessories.
  • Perform finish work as needed.
