All product warranties are provided solely by the manufacturer of each product. Products we sell — including window treatments and shades by Norman, motorization and lighting controls by Lutron, and products by Texton, among other brands — are covered exclusively by that manufacturer’s own warranty, and are subject entirely to the terms, duration, coverage, conditions, exclusions, and claims procedures set by that manufacturer.

Sarasota Window Blindsdoes not provide, extend, or assume any product warranty of its own, and makes no warranty beyond what the applicable manufacturer offers. For any product warranty question, defect, or claim, the manufacturer’s current published warranty controls. We are glad to help you locate, understand, register, and submit a claim under the applicable manufacturer warranty, but the manufacturer — not Sarasota Window Blinds— is responsible for honoring it.

The only warranty Sarasota Window Blinds may provide is a limited warranty on our own installation workmanship, and only if and to the extent it is expressly stated in your written proposal, contract, or invoice. Except for that workmanship warranty (where offered), all products and services are otherwise provided without warranty from Sarasota Window Blinds, and all implied warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law. This website does not itself create or constitute a warranty.

Statements on this website about light control, privacy, energy efficiency, solar heat gain, UV reduction, sound reduction, durability, and similar performance characteristics are general descriptions based on manufacturer information. Actual results vary based on product selection, configuration, installation, orientation, climate, and other factors specific to your home.

No product is “hurricane-proof,” and we do not guarantee that any product will prevent damage, injury, or loss during a storm.

Product approvals, wind-load ratings, engineering, installation methods, and permitting requirements vary by product and by opening. Not every product is approved or suitable for every opening or project. Suitability is determined during an in-home assessment and, where applicable, through the permitting and approval process.

Where a project includes replacement windows, doors, or other regulated construction work, that work is performed by appropriately licensed contractors. Depending on the project, Sarasota Window Blinds may act as the seller or project coordinator, while licensed trade professionals perform the regulated construction work and the responsible party obtains required permits and inspections.

Manufacturer approvals, product certifications, and warranties for windows and doors are provided by the respective manufacturers and are subject to their terms.

Regulated construction work that requires a license is completed by properly licensed contractors. If you would like license or insurance information relevant to your specific project, please ask and we will provide the applicable details for the work being performed.
