Window treatments are one of the last things installed in a new home, but planning them early is what makes the finish feel effortless. Here's the timeline we recommend.
The Four Stages

Design & selection (early)
Choose treatments and, critically, decide where motorization goes. This is when hardwired power gets designed in.

Pre-drywall / rough-in
Low-voltage wiring for hardwired motors is run before the walls close. Miss this window and you're limited to battery motors later.

Final measure (near completion)
We measure once windows and trim are in and final, so treatments fit precisely — measuring too early risks costly errors.

Installation (pre-move-in)
Treatments are installed just before move-in so the home is finished, private, and sun-controlled on day one.
