Cellular shades can be manufactured to fit arches and angled tops while still operating, giving you light control on odd shapes.

Sometimes the right move is to treat the functional window below and leave a high arch uncovered as an architectural feature — especially if it doesn't cause glare.
Tall and Hard-to-Reach Glass
Two-story windows and stacked glass are impossible to operate by hand from the floor. Motorization is the answer — it turns unreachable windows into one-button treatments and is far safer than a ladder. For fixed decorative shapes, a stationary treatment keeps the look without any operation at all.
